Background: Have you ever wondered if you are getting the best value for your money when you are ordering a pizza? The reporter who put together this graph did. He compiled almost 75,000 pizza prices from 3,678 pizza places around the US to see how much pizzas of different sizes cost. He did this because a friend of his told him you get more pizza for your money if you always order the bigger size. Why? Think about the geometry of a pizza pie (and a clue has a similar name – pi). Do you really get more pizza per dollar if you order a larger pizza?
